Terms of Service

Clear terms for a compact Discord product.

These Terms of Service govern use of the Babblebox website and the Babblebox Discord bot. Babblebox is built for Discord servers and combines safety, moderation, admin setup, private-first utilities, Daily Arcade, public-friendly identity surfaces, Confessions, Question Drops, and secondary party games.

Last updated: May 18, 2026. By inviting, installing, accessing, or using Babblebox, you agree to these Terms. If you use Babblebox on behalf of a server, team, or community, you represent that you have authority to do so for that Discord environment.

Discord-native service

Babblebox operates inside Discord and depends on Discord permissions, message visibility, channels, DMs, and API behavior.

Admin-controlled deployment

Server owners and administrators decide whether to install Babblebox, what it can access, and how moderation or log features are configured.

Compact operating model

Babblebox is designed to stay lightweight, bounded, and useful, not to act as a surveillance archive, enterprise workflow suite, or guaranteed always-on system.

1. Acceptance and Scope

By inviting Babblebox to a Discord server, using its commands or interfaces, or browsing the Babblebox website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or the bot.

If you use Babblebox on behalf of a server, community, organization, or moderation team, you are responsible for ensuring that you are authorized to install and configure the bot in that context.

2. Service Description

Babblebox is a proprietary Discord bot designed around a small set of product lanes rather than an all-purpose platform. Depending on feature availability, permissions, and server configuration, Babblebox may provide party games, Daily Arcade challenges, Buddy and profile surfaces, private-first utilities, and optional admin-facing Shield or lifecycle helpers.

Games and Daily Party games and Daily Arcade are designed for lightweight, shareable Discord play rather than tournament, gambling, or prize-backed use.
Identity surfaces Buddy, profile, and vault features provide cosmetic and progress-related views, not a financial or account-value system.
Utilities Watch, Later, Capture, reminders, AFK, and similar tools are convenience features and may depend on DMs, message access, and current Discord state.
Optional admin tools Shield and admin helpers are compact server tools, not a complete moderation case-management platform or legal-compliance service.

Babblebox may add, remove, limit, or adjust features at any time, especially where changes are needed for reliability, safety, abuse prevention, infrastructure constraints, or Discord platform changes.

3. Eligibility and Lawful Use

You may use Babblebox only in compliance with applicable law, Discord's terms and policies, and these Terms. You may not use Babblebox where doing so would be unlawful or where you lack authority to use the relevant Discord account, guild, role, or channel.

Babblebox is not intended for emergency services, life-safety use, or any environment where interruption, delay, false positives, missed detections, or message-delivery failure could create high-risk consequences.

4. User Responsibilities

When using Babblebox, you are responsible for your own conduct, commands, submissions, and the Discord context in which you use the bot.

  • Use Babblebox only for legitimate server participation, moderation, entertainment, or personal utility use.
  • Do not rely on Babblebox as your only copy of important information, media, reminders, moderation evidence, or server records.
  • Do not attempt to break rate limits, flood features, bypass safety checks, exploit bugs, or interfere with other users' access.
  • Do not use Babblebox to collect, expose, or redistribute personal information or message content in ways that violate law, server rules, or Discord rules.
  • You remain responsible for any text, links, attachments, or custom inputs you submit through the bot.

5. Server Admin Responsibilities

If you install or administer Babblebox in a server, you are responsible for how it is configured and where it is allowed to operate.

  • Install Babblebox only if you have authority to manage that server or feature area.
  • Review and set Discord permissions, channel access, command visibility, log destinations, trusted roles, and exclusions responsibly.
  • Use moderation, logging, review, or follow-up features only in ways consistent with your server's rules and any legal obligations you may have.
  • Review custom templates, allowlists, phrases, role targets, and other admin-configured content before enabling them.
  • Keep in mind that some bot output is intentionally public-friendly while some flows are private-first; your own server configuration can still affect visibility.

6. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

Babblebox may not be used for abusive, deceptive, or unlawful behavior. Prohibited misuse includes, without limitation:

  • harassment, stalking, threats, hateful conduct, or attempts to target protected groups
  • doxxing, privacy invasion, or unauthorized monitoring of users or servers
  • spam, scams, phishing, malware distribution, malicious link campaigns, or deceptive invite promotion
  • using the bot to facilitate illegal content, illegal transactions, or unlawful coordination
  • attempting to reverse engineer, copy, clone, overload, disrupt, or degrade the service beyond legitimate bug reporting or authorized security review
  • using Babblebox to evade moderation, bans, suspensions, or platform restrictions

Babblebox may limit, block, or terminate use connected to abusive or high-risk behavior, even if a specific misuse pattern is not listed above.

7. Media, Message Templates, and Custom Content

Some Babblebox features work with message links, attachment references, reminder text, AFK text, Watch keywords, or administrator-supplied templates and moderation settings. That does not make Babblebox a general media host, backup service, or permanent record system.

Private Capture transcript files may include currently available attachment URLs at send time. Later markers remain compact attachment-label state instead of durable raw attachment URLs.

Your content and configuration

  • You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of the content or configuration you submit through Babblebox.
  • You must have the necessary rights or permission to use content, links, attachments, names, branding, or other materials you surface through the bot.
  • Server admins are responsible for custom moderation templates, allowlists, role actions, and channel routing they configure.

Feature limits

  • Babblebox may truncate, sanitize, reject, or stop processing content that is unsafe, abusive, oversized, unavailable, deleted, or incompatible with the feature.
  • Capture and similar features depend on real Discord messages and attachment availability at the time of use.
  • Babblebox does not guarantee that attachments, previews, templates, or custom content will remain available, render identically, or be preserved long term.

8. Availability, Uptime, and Third-Party Dependencies

Babblebox is offered on a best-effort basis. Availability is not guaranteed, and features may be interrupted, degraded, delayed, or unavailable because of platform limits, infrastructure issues, message deletion, restart windows, permission changes, or third-party outages.

Discord dependency Babblebox depends on Discord APIs, gateways, permissions, channel access, and DM delivery. If Discord changes or blocks something, Babblebox behavior can change with it.
Hosting and storage Website hosting, Supabase, Postgres, or other supporting infrastructure may affect latency, storage availability, and restart continuity.
Optional external services Some optional flows may depend on configured third-party providers, such as Patreon-linked premium entitlement checks or Shield AI review providers for already-flagged live Shield events where second-pass review is enabled.
No SLA Babblebox does not provide a paid service-level agreement, guaranteed response time, guaranteed moderation coverage, or guaranteed delivery outcome.

Premium entitlements can depend on provider availability, webhook delivery, OAuth linking, and current verification state. If those checks fail, are delayed, go stale, hit a hard provider-auth failure, or a user unlinks Patreon locally, Babblebox may immediately withhold provider-backed premium-only expansion or premium-only runtime behavior until the entitlement is verified again or relinked. Babblebox is designed to preserve saved state on downgrade rather than intentionally deleting it just because a plan changed.

Premium payments, billing, and refunds

Babblebox does not process payment cards or directly reverse Patreon or Apple charges.

Payment, billing, duplicate-charge, unauthorized-charge, and refund issues should start with Patreon, or with Apple where an iOS in-app purchase or Apple-managed checkout was used.

Refund and billing outcomes follow Patreon or Apple policy and applicable law, not a separate Babblebox refund guarantee. Official references: Patreon refund policy, Patreon refund help, and Apple billing help.

Babblebox support can help with entitlement resolution, Patreon linking, stale refresh state, or Guild Pro claim assignment, but it cannot directly reverse Patreon or Apple charges for you.

Premium benefits are limited to the documented entitlement surfaces and current limits, such as resolved plan state, claim rights, current limit increases, and optional premium-only features when the real runtime prerequisites are met. Premium is not a guarantee of uninterrupted service, guaranteed AI availability, guaranteed moderation outcomes, or a promise that every optional provider-backed feature will be active at every moment.

Review the tier details before purchase, because unlinking, downgrading, losing verified entitlement state, or waiting for a tier change to refresh are entitlement-state issues rather than automatic refund events.

Babblebox may expose public liveness/readiness pages for hosting and rollout monitoring, but those pages are intentionally limited to non-sensitive readiness state and sanitized provider aggregates rather than authenticated operator detail.

9. Privacy

Babblebox's data handling practices are described in the Privacy Policy. That policy explains what the bot may access, what compact feature state it may store, and the limits designed to avoid turning Babblebox into a broad archive.

By using Babblebox, you acknowledge that the service necessarily interacts with Discord content, metadata, and permissions within the scopes where the bot is invited and allowed to operate.

10. Intellectual Property and Branding

The Babblebox codebase, website presentation, product name, logo, branding, and original bot materials are proprietary and remain the property of Arno Create or their respective owner or licensor. Third-party libraries, platform APIs, and public data sources remain subject to their own licenses and terms. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Babblebox, its source code, or its branding to you.

Subject to these Terms, you may use Babblebox as intended inside Discord. You may not present yourself as the owner of Babblebox, misrepresent an official relationship, use Babblebox branding in a misleading way, or operate an unauthorized copy or clone of the service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Babblebox is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. No warranty is made that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, available at any particular time, or fit for any specific business, moderation, archival, or compliance purpose.

Babblebox does not warrant that all content will be detected, all reminders will be delivered, all moderation outcomes will be correct, or all outputs will remain available after deletions, platform changes, or outages.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Babblebox and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, server disruption, moderation disputes, or content loss arising out of or related to your use of the website or the bot.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability for claims arising out of Babblebox will not exceed the amounts you paid, if any, for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Suspension, Removal, and Termination

Babblebox may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the website, bot, or specific features if use appears abusive, unlawful, high-risk, incompatible with Discord platform rules, or harmful to the service or other users.

  • Server owners and administrators may remove Babblebox from their server at any time.
  • Babblebox may disable features or stop responding in certain servers or contexts if misuse or safety concerns arise.
  • Some compact stored state may persist temporarily until ordinary cleanup, expiry, or deletion flows run.

14. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated when Babblebox changes materially, when legal or platform requirements shift, or when the operating model needs to be clarified. When the Terms are updated, the date at the top of this page will be revised.

Continued use of Babblebox after an updated version is posted means you accept the revised Terms.
